A late equaliser by Mohamed Salah denied the Super Eagles the chance of moving to the top of Group G in the African Cup of Nations qualification.

The Super were forced to play a 1-1 draw when Salah slotted home a fine pass from Ramadan to cancel out Oghenekaro Etebo’s goal.

The draw meant Egypt stay on top of Group G with seven points from three matches and host Nigeria in Egypt 

Cruyff to be cremated Friday in Barcelona

Dutch football legend Johan Cruyff, who has died aged 68 after a five-month battle with lung cancer, was to be cremated on Friday afternoon in Barcelona, the daily De Telegraaf reported.

Leicester to earn UCL top Spots with EPL win
Leicester to be placed in top Champions League pot if they win the Premier League.

However, UEFA have confirmed that the Premier League will continue to have four Champions League places until at least the end of the 2017-18 season.

The hosts of this year’s Olympic Games, created the better chances, but were either denied by poor finishing or goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel who had an excellent game.

Ubong Ekpai scored the only goal of the encounter after just four minutes, firing in a rebound.

Adam Johnson Jailed For Six Years
Adam Johnson has been sentenced to six years in prison for child sex offences.

Johnson, 29-year-old, former England and Sunderland player was sentenced by Judge Jonathan Rose at Bradford Crown Court on Thursday and has been stripped of his 12 England international caps.
